Is This Cause For Alarm?

Most of you don't get the news as you should, at least not of late anyway. What you read here you do not find on the front pages of the NY Times, The Boston Globe or NBC, CBS, ABC et al.

During the Campaign Senator Obama made this speech that sent chills up my spine, no I didn't get a tingly feeling up my leg.

Now look at what Rep Alcee L Hastings, D-Fla., has introduced to the House of Representatives a new bill, H.R. 645, calling for the secretary of homeland security to establish no fewer than six national emergency centers for corralling civilians on military installations.

Then we have Rep Bobby Rush, D-Ill., is introducing a bill that would create a Federal gun license and registry program requiring owners to submit a photo, finger prints, address, and medical records to make it easier for the federal government to track gun owners. The bill would allow a given time frame for compliance and failure would result in government confiscation of your weapon.
