I look at what is in this bill, and I did download it, and I am almost brought to tears. Pictured here are my beautiful, happy, innocent little granddaughters, who by this single act have been given a head start of $30,000.00 of debt each. And this is what he said during the signing;
I will also go through the federal budget, line by line, eliminating programs that no longer work and making the ones we do need work better and cost less - because we cannot meet twenty-first century challenges with a twentieth century bureaucracy. [emphasis mine]
Where was his line by line on this bill? He also said that any piece of legislation would be online for review buy the public for 5 days. [This bill was never available, it wasn't even read by the congress before voting for it]
